Kevin W. Condon is a retired law enforcement professional from the Coral Gables Police Department (FL) with over 25 years of service.
Currently, Kevin is a licensed mental health professional, Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). He has experience working in community mental health, juvenile residential mental health and college mental health. Kevin also worked with the Department of Veterans Affairs for over 6 years.
The most crucial factor in the review of any police action is an understanding of the practical application of departmental policies, procedures, and practices in relation to an issue of concern.
Kevin’s experience in law enforcement included working in the Internal Affairs (IA) Unit for approximately 8 years, a significant portion of time as a lieutenant and the Acting Unit Commander. Kevin has extensive training and experience investigating complaints and allegations of misconduct of police department employees.
Kevin’s law enforcement training and experience has equipped him with the comprehensive skill set necessary to review public safety policy, procedures, and practices in the context of exposure and liability.
Kevin has been retained as an expert witness and subject matter expert on matters involving police departments by Atlanta attorney Benjamin O. Bengtson.
